Cafeteria Prepayment Refund or Transfer Request:

• Step 1) If you have automatic payments, log into Paypams and disable the setting for automatic payments or remove the student from your account to prevent recurring charges.
• Step 2) Scan the QR Code below and complete the Refund/Transfer Request Form.
• Seniors can bring cash or check directly to the cafeteria to pay any outstanding cafeteria balances.

Cap and Gown Order Information:

To order ONLY a cap and gown for graduation, follow the link to the Jostens’ website and choose a CUSTOM CAP & GOWN MEDALLION UNIT. 

• Choose the Cap & Gown option
• Enter height, weight, and gender.

Parking Spot Cover Up:

Saturday, May 4 at 8:30 am

If you don’t cover your spot, you will be charged a fee of $50

Senior Week:

All outfits must comply with dress code and be school appropriate.  All senior pranks must be cleared by Ms. Hurst and Ms. Wynn.  Failure to do so will result in not being allowed to walk at graduation.

• Monday – Recreate your first day of kindergarten outfit
• Tuesday – Dress like a teacher or wear an influential quote
• Wednesday – Jersey Day
• Thursday – Senioritis – Wear pajamas to school
• Friday – Future day – Dress as your future career or wear your post-secondary institution gear (military, college, vocational, or university)

Senior Walk Out:

May 10th, after A lunch (providing senior meets all academic graduation requirements)

Prom:

• May 11 from 8 pm – 11 pm

Baccalaureate:

BTHS has invited the senior class of BHS and their families to join them in their baccalaureate services.

• Baccalaureate will take place on Monday, May 13th at 6:30 PM at San Juan del Rio Catholic Church.
• BTHS’ Class Officers have invited Beachside Seniors and families to join the ceremony.
• Graduates who wish to participate wear their gown, but not caps.
• The BTHS Chorus will perform under the direction of Choral Director, Ms. Barbara Mattingly.
• Attendees will be addressed by San Juan del Rio Pastor, Father Peter Akin -Otiko, as well as Co-Pastors of Grace United Methodist Church, Carolyn and David Williamson.
• Renee Kroll will deliver the BTHS Educator’s Address.
• Brent Hunsinger will deliver the BHS Educator’s Address.

*Baccalaureate is a Class Officer organized event.

Senior Debt Day/Grad Packet Pick-Up:

May 14^th from 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Seniors who are academically cleared for graduation and have no outstanding BHS property, fees (books, uniforms, parking tickets, senior dues, etc) will pick up senior packets including tickets to graduation.  Packets also include honor cords, records, and more.  Seniors can sign up for a 30 minute timeslot for debt day:  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0C4FA9A629A2FE3-49475456-senior

Seniors must complete the following to pick up their packet on debt day:

1. Cleared by school counselor for all graduation requirements met.
2. Cleared of all debt/uniforms/books/etc owed to St Johns County School District.
3. Turn in final transcript request form including SchoolPay receipt (for printed transcripts only).  Do not turn in forms early.
4. Turn in BHS parking pass

Transcripts:

All completed final transcript request forms and SchoolPay receipt (for printed transcripts only) should be turned in on senior debt day.  Do not turn this in early.  You will not receive your graduation ceremony tickets unless the transcript request form is turned in on debt day.  Click HERE for Class of 2024 Final Transcript Request Form

Graduation Rehearsal:

• Graduation rehearsal will take place at the UNF Arena and Field House on Thursday, May 16 at 1:00 pm.  Seniors should arrive no later than 12:45 pm
• Park in Lot 18 only

• All graduates must attend rehearsal (only students taking an AP test at the same time as rehearsal are excused) 
• Only graduates can attend rehearsal.  No parents, siblings, friends, etc.

Graduation:

May 20^th at 6 pm at University of North Florida Arena

• Students should report to field house by 5 pm
• To comply with capacity limitations, each graduate will receive ten (10) guest tickets. Beachside never sells tickets.

• Suggested attire for graduates to wear under their academic gowns: Navy or black dress pants or khakis, dark socks, shoes, and a dress shirt with a tie; or a dress or shirt/blouse with navy, black, or khaki dress pants and flats.
• Graduates should avoid wearing jeans, shorts, flip flops, crocs, or sneakers. Heels are not recommended for safety reasons.
• Academic gowns should be zipped and fall midway between the knee and ankle.
• Caps should be worn flat on the head.  Tassels are worn on the right and shifted to the left after all graduates have received their diplomas.
• Seniors may decorate their caps. It must be kept school appropriate, and less than one inch in height.
• SJCSD high school graduation ceremonies historically last approximately two hours.
